2004 - present

My first and longest practice has been live performance in music and theatre. This ranges from the work I have been featured in as a performer (Workshop Performance: Manyselves Opera by Sebastian Hutchings, 2024; Tynomi Banks Drag Concert with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, 2023; World Premiere: Ragtime Live Concert, 2022; Dialogue of the Carmelites Opera, 2018; Die Zauberflöte Opera Germany, 2016 & more), to designing, composing and arranging sound and music for theatre, to work I have curated, directed and/or produced. Once I founded my production company, Village Girls, I launched musical theatre cabarets showcasing Black female performers in the Canadian Prairies.
